Daniel Bohne and the team from claustrophobia were faced with the challenge of migrating their store from Shopware to Shopify. Our goal was to ensure a smooth transition so the store was fully functional immediately after launch. Here's how we went about it:

Migration of product data:
First, we exported all important product data such as images, prices, SKUs, and variants to a CSV file. This data was then mapped to the corresponding fields in Shopify and integrated into the new store using import and API functions. This ensured that all products were immediately available upon launch. At the same time, it allowed us to test the integration with the fulfillment center, tracking systems, and payment methods.

Choosing the right theme:
Shopify offers a variety of themes based on a modular system of sections and templates. After extensive consultation, we chose the Enterprise theme, which best suited Platzangst's needs and brand identity.

Structure of the frontend:
We developed a schema.org-enabled filter system and breadcrumbs to improve SEO. We also built reusable sections for landing pages, allowing the Platzangst team to structure their content flexibly and effectively.

Selecting the right apps:
To optimally complement the store, we selected Shopify apps that offer specific features such as advanced analytics, improved customer interactions, or special marketing tools.

Launch of the shop:
Once all elements were implemented and tested, the store was launched. This step was carefully planned to ensure a seamless transition for customers and the team.

This case study shows how we use strategic planning and technical expertise to enable an efficient store migration to Shopify, laying the foundation for increased growth and improved operations.
