About the role

As a project manager, you are responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing the operational implementation of client projects and retainers. You create structure and clarity for clients and internal teams by managing timelines, communication, documentation, and expectations.
With excellent communication skills, calm coordination, and meticulous attention to detail, you ensure that projects progress in a predictable, efficient, and transparent manner. You foster team alignment, identify risks early on, and ensure that clients feel well-supported throughout all project phases.

Tasks

Project management

  • Planning and controlling scopes, timelines, milestones and deliverables.

  • Coordination of tasks, schedules and dependencies between all team members involved to ensure clear sequencing and predictable delivery.

  • Ensuring coordination between cross-functional teams through proactive communication and clear documentation.

  • Ongoing transparency regarding project status, risks, and next steps.

  • Supporting smooth transitions between discovery, implementation, QA, launch and post-launch.

  • Supporting predictable project execution through clear requirements, budgets, and schedules.

Customer communication & relationship management

  • Regular, structured status updates for customers.

  • Supporting clients in understanding project progress, decisions, and timelines.

  • Clear documentation of requirements, questions, and feedback for internal teams.

  • Building and maintaining a positive, professional and collaborative partnership with all stakeholders on the client side.

Cross-functional coordination

  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Design and Strategy to clarify tasks and requirements.

  • Coordination of collaboration between teams for smooth handovers and consistent alignment.

  • Early identification and escalation of blockers, risks, and dependencies.

  • Use of AI tools to support planning, documentation, communication and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in project management, ideally in an agency, in the digital or e-commerce environment.

  • Basic understanding of web development and confident use of Shopify.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and calmly.

  • High organizational competence, strong attention to detail and experience in the parallel management of several projects.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify risks early and escalate them appropriately.

  • Fluent German (C2) and good English skills (at least B2).
