Most project managers coordinate tickets. You run projects. For us, it is not about managing tasks—it is about bringing complex e-commerce migrations to a structured, on-time close with real value for the client.
As a project manager at NICCOS, you work on projects that matter. No project chaos, no half-baked processes—instead clear structures, confident communication, and ownership from kick-off to go-live.
You are not on your own: you work closely with our Head of Project Management, collaborate with the team, and have direct influence on how we shape the agency around project processes.

Project steering – You lead Shopify and Shopify Plus migration projects from kick-off to go-live, in close alignment with the Head of Project Management
Planning & tracking – You plan milestones, resources, and budgets and keep the overview even with several parallel projects
Weeklies & alignment – You facilitate project weeklies and coordinate collaboration between engineering, design, and the client team
Quality & transparency – You ensure decisions are documented, processes are followed, and outcomes are traceable
Risk & stakeholder management – You spot risks early and communicate proactively with clients and internally
Growing the agency – You actively contribute when we evolve internal PM standards, tools, and processes

Several years of experience in project management for digital or e-commerce projects, ideally in an agency or at a Shopify brand
You know how e-commerce projects work in practice—from discovery through migration to go-live
Solid Shopify literacy: you understand integrations, typical agency workflows, and can speak as a peer with engineering and design
Project management experience—you keep the overview when multiple projects and topics run in parallel
Strong communication—confident in German and English, including with enterprise clients
Ownership—you drive tasks to completion without someone chasing you
Growth mindset—you want to grow yourself and the agency, not just ship projects
Structured way of working with tools such as ClickUp, Google Drive, and Slack (or similar)
Fluent German and solid English

Experience with Shopify migration projects from other shop systems (e.g. Magento, Shopware, OXID)
Knowledge of common e-commerce processes such as payments, fulfillment, or marketplace integrations
Experience with agile or hybrid PM methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Basic understanding of technical context in the Shopify ecosystem (integrations, APIs, middleware)
